Make Every day EARTH DAY🌏🌳

Here are 7 Earth day tips for kids and families:
  1. Plant a garden with trees and flowers
  2. Turn of the light
  3. Make a bird feeder
  4. Do not waste water
  5. Build an insect hotel
  6. Clean up the park or forest
  7. Recycle
The important thing to remember is to really help our planet, Earth day should be every day, not only once a year!

For over 20 years, the Lakeridge Community Association has leased and operated the tennis court area in Crocus Park. Crocus Park is the only public park in the Lakeridge neighbourhood, and is a hub for the neighbourhood offering a number of amenities for residents to enjoy throughout the year, and the tennis court is a key part of that. Repairs for a tennis court are expensive, and with the growing interest in pickleball, the Association will be looking to improve this court surface, while also incorporating modifications to line markings and net height in order to allow both activities to be available. We are excited about the programming and public use opportunities that will come with this "court remodel" ! Our hope is to have these changes take place in 2021, but will depend on the fundraising possible.

School/Community Signs
In early 2006, your Lakeridge Community Association Executive voted to donate $9000 each to Lakeridge School and St. Luke Schools, for the purchase of School/Community signs and letters. The first 4 lines of each sign are used by the school to remind you of what is happening in your child’s school. The last 2 lines of each are for your LCA’s Executive use. We will try to keep you informed of Community Registrations and Events! Please remember to take a look as you walk by the schools.

If your organization has news that are beneficial to the Lakeridge community, please let us know about it.
