An annual membership fee of $15 is required to participate in programs and must be purchased at the time of registration.

Lakeridge Community Association honours other community association memberships. Community association programs are not held when the schools are closed for holidays and/or common dismissal days.

Refund Policy: No refunds after the 2nd week of the activity. Community programs do not run on statutory holidays or school breaks.

SPRING SOCCER REGISTRATION
Outdoor Soccer 2023
The 2023 outdoor soccer season will run from May 1 – June 30.
Kindersoccer (Co-ed) - Born 2019 ($50 each)
Season will run for 8-10 weeks starting in May
Under 5 (Co-ed) - Born 2018 ($100 each)
Games will be held on Mondays or Tuesday’s at 6pm or 7pm outdoors on grass fields within the surrounding communities.
Under 7 - Born 2016 & 2017 ($100 each)
Games will be held on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday’s outdoors on grass fields within the surrounding communities. Practices may be held at the discretion of the coach, field availability and number of teams
Under 9 - Born 2014 & 2015 ($115 each)
Games will be held on Monday, Tuesday or Friday’s outdoors on grass fields within the surrounding communities. Practices may be held at the discretion of the coach, field availability and number of teams.

Important Information:
• Season starts May 1st, 2022 and runs until June 30th, 2023
• Kindersoccer teams have practices/ non-competitive games once a week.
• No underage players are permitted in U5
• Nights of play and number of players in games are subject to change
• Each team requires at least one volunteer coach (ideally two), all required training will be provided

FALL 2022 - INDOOR SOCCER

Indoor Soccer 2022/23 Season Registration Open NOW!

The 2022/23 indoor soccer season will run from October 23, 2022 – March 19, 2023.

Kindersoccer (Co-ed) - Born 2019 ($50 each)
Session will run Mondays from 6-6:45pm for 10 weeks (October 3rd to December 12th). No session on Monday, October 10th.

Under 5 (Co-ed) - Born 2018 ($150 each)
Games will be held on Sundays predominately at the Henk Ruys Soccer Centre. Practices will be held either Tuesday or Thursday evenings at a school gym in the community.

Under 7 - Born 2016 & 2017 ($150 each)
Games will be held on Sundays predominately at the Henk Ruys Soccer Centre. Practices will be held either Tuesday or Thursday evenings at a school gym in the community.
Under 9 - Born 2014 & 2015 ($200 each)
Games will be held on Sundays predominately at the Henk Ruys Soccer Centre. Practices will be held either Tuesday or Thursday evenings at a school gym in the community.

YOUTH PROGRAMS ❄️ WINTER ‘2023


BALLET


There will be two classes running this winter for youth ballet. Our inaugural ballet classes went very well this past year and we are excited to be bringing this to the Lakeridge Community once again. Two age group categories will be provided: Preschool (ages 3-4 years) and Children (ages 5-6 years). The cost is $60 per participant. The Preschool group gets on their tip-toes from 6-6:30pm and the Children group follows close behind with their plies from 6:45-7:30pm

$30/11 Sessions or $5/Night
CANCELLATIONS: FEB 24TH
Escape the cold and dreary winter with an open gym for kids to run around and play. Soccer/Basketball/Volleyball/Footballs are provided as well as a few small push toys and other items. Feel free to bring any age-appropriate toys and let your kids get out and burn off some energy on a Friday night.

YOUTH ART - watercolours

YOUTH ART CLASS "Exploring Watercolours"
Wednesdays 6: 30 - 8:00 pm
Lakeridge Small Gym
Ages 10-18 only
DATES: January 25 & February 1
FREE
Come experiment, make art, and learn some watercolour painting techniques along the way. In this two-session class (each session 90 minutes) we will create abstract art and explore how watercolour behaves, then use our knowledge to create a multicoloured misty forest, a sunset painting, and more! This class is a great starting point for beginners and also a fun experience for advanced artists -all skill levels are welcome.

Children’s Art - Bookmaking



CHILDREN’S ART CLASS "Bookmaking"
Monday 6:00 - 7:15 PM
St. Lukes Gym,
Age 8 - 14
DATES: February 13,
FEE: $15
Make a special book! In this class participants can follow steps to make their own custom blank book, and also learn about other methods of homemade bookbinding. Materials are provided.

BUILD A CROWN 👑



CHILDREN ART CLASS "Build a Crown!"
Wednesday 6 PM & 7 PM. All ages welcome.
Location Lakeridge Small Gym
DATES: Wednesday March 15th
FEE: $10 each or $15 per family
Caregiver/child crafting time
Come and make a dress-up crown or hat out of felt and craft foam. Caregivers are encouraged to join their children in creating. Younger children (under 8) need to be assisted by a parent to help with some of the cutting. Instructions and materials are provided

SMBA 🏀 BASKETBALL FALL 2022


Participants develop basketball skills while learning about team play in an environment that promotes fun and sportsmanship. Teams practice once during the week starting in late September and play league games on Saturdays from October until March. Come out and have fun and learn one of the greatest team sports available.

Lakeridge Community Association is once again teaming up with the Saskatoon Minor Basketball Association for youth basketball this fall. Sessions run October 2022 until March 2023. Age groups range from Grade 1 up to Grade 12 students and sign up is available through the SMBA website at leagues.teamlinkt.com/smba. There is even a Developmental League for Grades 5-8 to further enhance your child's skills on the court. Check out the SMBA website for more information. Registration deadline is fast approaching on August 31/22.
