An annual membership fee of $15 is required to participate in programs and must be purchased at the time of registration.
Lakeridge Community Association honours other community association memberships. Community association programs are not held when the schools are closed for holidays and/or common dismissal days. Refund Policy: No refunds after the 2nd week of the activity. Community programs do not run on statutory holidays or school breaks. Questions regarding the indoor adult programs? ADULT / FAMILY FALL PROGRAMS 🍁
IYENGAR YOGA with Evelyn Nixey
Come inhale the future and quiet your mind with Iyengar Yoga. This class is being offered for ages 18 and above on Monday evenings from September 12, 2022 to December 19, 2022. Ninety minute classes begin at 7pm and the cost for the full season is $90 per participant. Located in the small side of the Lakeridge School gymnasium this class is the perfect way to shake off the 'Mondays' and begin your week. FAMILY GYM NIGHT
Family play night
Bring the whole family out to enjoy a full gymnasium of toys, warmth, and community as fall turns to winter. Family Play Night runs Friday early evenings (6-7pm) in the St.Luke gym for ages 1.5 years and up. Unstructured play with the gym equipment provided allows even the parents to be kids again. BASKETBALL / ADULT - REC
Adult rec basketball for ages 16 and above will run in the large portion of the Lakeridge School gym on Tuesdays from 8-10pm. The $50 program begins September 13, 2022 and ends December 13, 2022. Participation was fantastic for the 2021 season and we hope to see you all out once again this fall. STAMP CARVING / BLOCK PRINTING
Adult Art Workshop: "Stamp Carving for Crafting or Block Printing" In this 2.5 hour workshop, participants will learn how to design, transfer, and carve their own stamps. The majority of class time will be given to designing and carving stamps, with some time at the end learning about various printmaking and craft applications beyond the inkpad and paper. All artistic and skill levels are welcome! Materials provided.

PAINT - PRAIRIE SKIES&LANDSCAPE
Adult Art Class: "Painting the Prairie Skies and Landscape" A four-week watercolour class where we will explore watercolour techniques and approaches to capturing the beauty of the prairie scenery. Projects will include a winter snowscape, stormy clouds over canola fields, and a sunset. This is a guided, structured class, but participants are more than welcome to take the prompts and go their own way. Materials are not provided for this class, participants will need to provide their own paints, brushes, and paper.
