Our Mission:

The Lakeridge Community Association exists to encourage a sense of community and to improve the quality of life for all residents within the neighbourhood.  The association works to accomplish this goal by promoting and coordinating leisure programs and social activities, as well as by representing the neighbourhood.

Volunteers Needed!

A strong and vibrant community association can help make our neighbourhood a better place for everyone. There are many opportunities for community members to become involved as executive members, coaches, instructors and event volunteers. It’s a great way to get to know people in your neighbourhood!  Program suggestions are also welcome. Contact a member of the executive or attend a monthly meeting for more information!

President’s Message - Winter 2013

Hello Lakeridge!

Another year has come and gone, we are already coming up to our Annual General Meeting

Tuesday, April 16, 2013 @ St. Luke School Library.

This is the opportunity for you to attend and become involved with your community. 

We have several key positions that must be filled or we are in jeopardy of losing programs and events.  We hold our regular monthly meeting starting at 7:30 and upon completion we have the nomination and election of all potential candidates. 

Most positions are for a 2 year term starting in April of 2013.

If you are interested in helping out and have questions about any position please give me a call and I will be happy to explain the position and the responsibilities associated with that position.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Janice Fox for her dedication over the past several years as the treasurer and wish her well.  Also a big thank you to Betty Dolman for working so hard as our Soccer Coordinator.  Both Betty & Janice were always a big part of Family Fun Day in getting everything set up and volunteering their time to make sure everyone had a good time. 

Please do your part, come out and be a volunteer and help make the Lakeridge Community one of the best.

School/Community Signs

In early 2006, your Lakeridge Community Association Executive voted to donate $9000 each to Lakeridge School and St. Luke Schools, for the purchase of School/Community signs and letters. The first 4 lines of each sign are used by the

school to remind you of what is happening in your child’s school. The last 2 lines of

each are for your LCA’s Executive use. We will try to keep you informed of Community Registrations and Events! Please remember to take a look as you walk by the schools.
