Please join us at our VIRTUAL AGM for COVID-19 Q&A with
DR. NAZEEM MUHAJARINE
Dr. Muhajarine is a professor of community health and epidemiology in the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Medicine. He is internationally respected for his expertise in community health. During the past year, he has been a leading expert in the COVID19 pandemic and response, appearing frequently in print and broadcast media in Canada and beyond. He has led five projects related to COVID19, and is currently leading a pillar in a national network focused on variants of concern.
Questions can be submitted in advance to: email@example.com
What Will our 2nd COVID-19 Summer Look Like?
Reminder to all that epidemiologist Dr Nazeem Muhajarine will be doing a 15 minute Q & A with us at our AGM, from 8:00 to 8:15. This will be a great opportunity for us to get a sense of what summer may be looking like in relation to COVID-19 community transmission - perhaps best and worst case scenarios?
Dr. Nazeem M. is graciously donating his time, and donations to the Saskatoon Interagency Response to COVID19 would be welcome. Here is the link: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/saskatoon-community-foundation/campaign/Saskatoon-COVID-19-Community-Response-Fund/
Q&A with Councillor BEV DUBOIS

APRIL 2021 UPDATE
At this point, the Community Association’s in Saskatoon are not allowed to book space in the schools.
LAKERIDGE C.A. is in need of a Youth Coordinator & Adult Program Coordinator.
We/ Lakeridge C.A. are in need of both Soccer & Basketball CO’s.
If you or someone you know would be willing to volunteer, that could/would be fabulous for our community!
The more volunteers, the more positive change we can make!
Please consider volunteering!

GOFUNDME LCA. FUNDRAISER
For over 20 years, the Lakeridge Community Association has owned and operated the tennis court area in Crocus Park. Crocus Park is the only public park in the Lakeridge neighbourhood, and is a hub for the neighbourhood offering a number of amenities for residents to enjoy throughout the year, and the tennis court is a key part of that. Repairs for a tennis court are expensive, and with the growing interest in pickleball, the Association will be looking to improve this court surface, while also incorporating modifications to line markings and net height in order to allow both activities to be available. We are excited about the programming and public use opportunities that will come with this "court remodel" ! Our hope is to have these changes take place in 2021, but will depend on the fundraising possible.
